Help Bring Lights to Starr Park!

Let’s keep the momentum going for youth and community soccer in Rhinebeck.

‍Starr Park’s soccer field has become a vital hub for our community, bringing together youth teams, adult leagues, and pickup games throughout the year. But without field lighting, shorter days severely limit access to the field, leaving hundreds of players with fewer opportunities to get out and play.

Adding lights to the existing field would extend playing hours, expand access for local teams and leagues, and make better use of a community resource that so many Rhinebeck residents already enjoy.

Make Your Voice Heard!

The Town Board is holding a public hearing on the town's preliminary budget which includes the proposed soccer field lighting project, and we need our community to show up in support!

Can't Make the Meeting? Writing to the Town Board can make a real difference, too.

A strong show of community support helps demonstrate how much this field means to local families and players. Please take a few minutes to email a letter in support of the project to townboard@rhinebeckny.gov. Share what the field means to you, your family, or the community, and encourage the Board to move this project forward.
